AISoul’s in-app Settings line only mentions the chat window and media allowances. The backend and the signed product pages are stricter: nickname / preferences / summary go with the clear; quotas do not.

Why research papers do not diagnose your app
Holtzman et al., *The Curious Case of Neural Text Degeneration* shows that decoding strategies can yield dull, repetitive generated text. That supports a narrow claim: language models can loop. It does not prove that your companion’s repeat was caused by sticky chat history, a saved memory, or a particular app setting. Unlikelihood training (Welleck et al.) is likewise a generation-method paper, not an AI-girlfriend field study.
