What “no signup” actually answers
September 17 editorial update: The guest-session evidence above remains dated September 2; we have not repeated those sessions today. The decision guide below adds privacy, continuity and trial checks. It does not certify that a provider still offers the same guest allowance on your device or in your region.
No account, no email, no card, free and unlimited are five different promises

If refusing an account is your hard requirement, choose by the first row even when an account-based service has better media. AISoul is not a workaround for that requirement: it requires email registration. A five-minute guest-access check you can repeat
Open the official domain in a fresh browser profile. Record the date, device and whether you are already logged in. Choose an adult fictional character and send a harmless ordinary greeting. Check that a reply actually arrives. Send a follow-up to distinguish a usable chat from a single demo response. Note exactly when the service asks for signup, payment or age confirmation; do not bypass those gates.
Next reload the same tab, then open the same address in another fresh profile. These are different tests: reloading can preserve a session cookie, while another profile may not. Record both outcomes instead of claiming that all guest chats survive—or vanish—on refresh. Only test media if the service expressly includes it in the guest allowance. Do not buy credits just to establish whether basic guest access exists.
Incognito is not a promise of anonymous conversation
A private browser window changes local browsing storage behavior; it does not make a cloud provider unable to receive the messages you submit or the network information needed to serve the page. Avoid names, addresses, passwords and identifiable details about other people. A promise of no public profile is different from a promise of no retention or no processing by model providers.
Use the product's own privacy and deletion controls. Clearing cookies can remove your ability to reopen a guest session without establishing that the server erased the conversation. Conversely, creating an account can improve recovery while adding an identity link. That is a trade-off to understand, not a universal reason to register.
When signup appears halfway through the chat
First establish what changed: a guest-message limit, a request to save history, a media limit or a payment requirement. Do not assume that repeating the same message will remove the gate. If you decide to register, check whether the existing guest thread will be retained before closing the tab. If you decline, stop there rather than handing credentials to an unofficial mirror promising to remove limits.
