The annual option is marketed as $3.99 per month, but the charge is $47.88 upfront. The three-month option is marketed as $8.99 per month, but the charge is $26.97 upfront. A per-month equivalent is a comparison aid, not the payment schedule.

What Candy AI Premium includes

Candy's current Terms of Service state that a paid subscription provides unlimited access to messaging plus a monthly token amount disclosed at checkout, generally 100 tokens per month. Its subscription page lists Premium benefits that include character creation, adult image and video generation, live-action features, unlimited text messages and 100 tokens monthly.

That creates two different meters:

• Access meter: the subscription keeps Premium features available.
• Usage meter: tokens are spent on specified extended features.

Unlimited text does not mean unlimited images, voice notes or video. “Premium” and “unlimited” should always be read beside the token allowance.

Candy's terms say free users can generally send a maximum of five messages before further use requires paid access. “Generally” matters: product experiments, regional offers and account state can change the exact free experience.

For example, the annual headline equivalent is $3.99 per month only if you use the full year and buy no additional tokens. Leaving after two months does not turn the remaining annual payment into a refund. Heavy media use can also make refills more important than the subscription equivalent.

Run a five-action token audit before buying a year

Do not use a promotional screenshot as a usage estimate. Test the product with a small plan or available free access, then record:

1. One ordinary text reply.

2. One image request.

3. One voice note or voice action.

4. One video or animated action, if available.

5. One regeneration or retry.

Write down the token balance before and after each action. If the interface does not show a clear debit, ask support rather than assuming every media action costs the same.

Auto-renewal, cancellation and unused tokens

Candy's Terms of Service say subscriptions automatically renew for the duration and price disclosed at checkout. The payment is processed on the first day of the renewed period. The same terms say remaining subscription tokens expire at the end of the billing period after cancellation; they do not carry into a later resubscription and are not refunded. Therefore cancellation timing has two separate effects:

• It does not necessarily preserve unused tokens after the paid period ends.

Record the cancellation confirmation and the stated access end date. If you paid through a mobile store or a regional payment method, check which company owns the receipt and which cancellation path applies.
